GeoQuest
is proud to be a Zambian company and regularly
participates in community development projects. Some
recent examples are:
Zambian
Rugby
As part of its policy to support the community,
GeoQuest Limited undertook to sponsor the Zambia
'B' (known as 'Lechwe') team who took part in
the recent Castle International Rugby Sevens
Tournament, held in Lusaka on 2nd and 3rd June.
This sponsorship
involved providing the team with brand new rugby
kit and off-field attire.
In March 2007
GeoQuest Limited facilitated
and paid the air freight costs in the donation of second
hand rugby kit to the Zambia Rugby Football
Union from Northampton Rugby Club/Northampton
West Rotary Club in
England
.
The
Heal Project
GeoQuest has actively supported the HEAL project
over the past five years through donations and
organising fund raising events. The HEAL
project in Lusaka is a community based project
aimed at supporting and educating people (mainly
children / orphans) living with HIV/Aids.
In early 2007 GeoQuest
continued its support for the HEAL Project with
the donation of a computer to help with their
administration. In June a cash donation was made
amounting to US$2,500 towards their programme
objectives.

The
Caledonian Society
GeoQuest supports the Lusaka and District
Caledonian Society’s charitable fundraising
event – The Lusaka Highland Games – each
year. This includes sponsoring an event and
entering one or two teams. We’ve even
been known to win!

Supervision of drilling, construction and
development of a new borehole at the Upene
Mission Orphanage.
