Community Support

GeoQuest is proud to be a Zambian company and regularly participates in community development projects. Some recent examples are:

Zambian Rugby

As part of its policy to support the community, GeoQuest Limited undertook to sponsor the Zambia 'B' (known as 'Lechwe') team who took part in the recent Castle International Rugby Sevens Tournament, held in Lusaka on 2nd and 3rd June.
This sponsorship involved providing the team with brand new rugby kit and off-field attire.

In March 2007 GeoQuest Limited facilitated and paid the air freight costs in the donation of second hand rugby kit to the Zambia Rugby Football Union from Northampton Rugby Club/Northampton West Rotary Club in England .

The Heal Project

GeoQuest has actively supported the HEAL project over the past five years through donations and organising fund raising events.  The HEAL project in Lusaka is a community based project aimed at supporting and educating people (mainly children / orphans) living with HIV/Aids.

In early 2007 GeoQuest continued its support for the HEAL Project with the donation of a computer to help with their administration. In June a cash donation was made amounting to US$2,500 towards their programme objectives.

If you would like to know more about the Heal Project and possibly make a donation please contact the General manager of GeoQuest Limited and we will put you in touch.

The Caledonian Society

GeoQuest supports the Lusaka and District Caledonian Society’s charitable fundraising event – The Lusaka Highland Games – each year. This includes sponsoring an event and entering one or two teams.  We’ve even been known to win!
