Since it's formation in 2000 GeoQuest Limited has provided Professional Geological services on a contractual basis all over the Central African region to a number of notable organisations in the mining sector.

In response to growing demand for GeoQuest’s services in the DR Congo, offices have now been established in Kolwezi and Lubumbashi.

Services can be tailored to meet the specific requirements of the JORC, NI-43101 and SAMREC reporting codes. Reliable and rapid response to client requirements, i.e. resource, reserve, geotechnical is thoroughly adhered to during the duration of the project.

Mineral Exploration Services:

• Geological and other technical personnel
• First phase target generation and geological assessment of exploration areas
• Data archive retrieval, research, capture & desk top studies for potential regions or project areas of interest
• Evaluation and assessment of existing or proposed exploration / advanced exploration projects
• Exploration strategy / budgeting
• Efficient and cost effective management and execution of either all or part of agreed exploration programmes
• Arrangement of / reporting for exploration licences and permits in accordance with government requirements
• Environmental baseline studies undertaken include PAR’s
• GIS / Database section utilising Geosoft Target, Surfer and Arcview software
• Creation and management of project specific GIS databases
• Ground geophysical applications including in house ground magnetics and resistivity and through GeoQuest’s partnership with GSS (Neville Brown is the Southern African Zonge representative) IP, TEM, NSAMT and CSAMT. Other applications available by arrangement.

Areas of Operation:

GeoQuest has experience of working in Zambia , Democratic Republic of Congo, Republic of Congo, Gabon, Malawi, Mozambique and Tanzania. Individuals also have significant experience in Namibia and Tanzania.

GeoQuest will consider work in areas where the political or military climate may create potential risk. In addition, specialist security and medical personnel can be organised for individuals and teams working in these high risk environments.
