It is with pleasure that I am writing a client reference for GeoQuest Ltd on behalf of Freeport-McMoRan Exploration Corporation and our wholly-owned subsidiary Phelps Dodge Mining (Zambia) Ltd.

I have been familiar with GeoQuest Ltd since its inception in 2000 and GeoQuest Ltd has been involved in providing a number of important services to us across multiple projects, in several different countries, and at various technical levels.

In terms of technical merit, I have no hesitation in recommending GeoQuest Ltd. We have utilized their services from camp construction, greenfields sampling, geological mapping and right through to interpretation and diamond drilling. At each stage their provided staff have conducted their tasks diligently, professionally, skillfully and to my full satisfaction.

To date GeoQuest Ltd have operated projects on our behalf in Democratic Republic of Congo (where they were directly involved in the early to middle stages of our Kisanfu discovery), Gabon (greenfields) and many separate projects in Zambia from initiation to drilling. All projects were conducted to specification and without incident. Their technical reporting is to a very high standard and always delivered on, or even within, pre-agreed deadlines.

At all times GeoQuest Ltd have demonstrated a thorough understanding of the importance of operating to the highest standards of working safely and with keen environmental awareness. Despite multiple projects undertaken with us in remote locations, and in adverse conditions, to date there is yet to be a single serious incident – a comment that is of great credit and attributable to GeoQuest’s Ltd’s deep focus on working safely.

Through direct experience I can confirm that all staff at GeoQuest Ltd are fully trained and fully aware of the importance of industry best practice when dealing with Government and statutory requirements. In particular, all staff are aware of the requirements of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and our internal policies regarding good business conduct and anti-bribery. In my extensive experience of using GeoQuest Ltd’s services there has not been a single instance where best practice has not been strictly followed.

Considering all the above, I have no hesitation in recommending GeoQuest Ltd to any prospective client in the minerals exploration sector.
