GeoQuest provides a wide range of mineral exploration services as outlined below. Services can be tailored to meet the specific requirements of the JORC, NI-43101 and SAMREC reporting codes.

• Geological and other technical personnel

• First phase target generation and geological assessment of exploration areas 

• Data archive retrieval, research, capture & desk top studies for potential regions or project areas of interest

• Evaluation and assessment of existing or proposed exploration / advanced exploration projects

• Exploration strategy / budgeting

• Efficient and cost effective management and execution of either all or part of agreed exploration programmes

• Arrangement of / reporting for exploration licences and permits in accordance with governmental requirements

• Environmental baseline studies undertaken including Environmental Briefs (Zambia) and PAR’s (D.R.Congo)

• GIS/ Database section utilising Geosoft Target, Surfer and Arcview software

• Creation and management of project specific GIS databases

• Advice on / liaison with contractors and consultants  

• Ground geophysical applications including in-house ground magnetics and resistivity, and through GeoQuest’s partnership with Neville Brown of Geophysical Surveys and Systems (GSS), IP, TEM, NSAMT and CSAMT.  Neville Brown is the Southern African Zonge representative – see below.  Other applications are available by arrangement

  Areas of Operations

  GeoQuest has experience of working in Zambia , Democratic Republic of Congo, Republic of Congo, Gabon, Malawi, Mozambique and Tanzania. Individuals also have significant experience in Namibia and Tanzania.

  GeoQuest will consider work in areas where the political or military climate may create potential risk. In addition, specialist security and medical personnel can be organised for individuals and teams working in these high risk environments.
   

  Neville Brown and Geophysical Surveys and Systems (GSS) GSS has worked all over Southern / Central Africa including RSA, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, DRC, Tanzania and Zimbabwe. For Zambia and DRC, GSS has a resident Copperbelt based technician and have worked most noteably for KCM, Zamanglo, TEAL / ARM / AVMIN, Albidon, BHPBilliton and Phelps Dodge on a variety of different projects often in conjunction with GeoQuest who have provided geological, logistical and managerial support on the ground. GSS have recently invested in 3D IP inversion software and now offer 3D surveys and reprocessing of older surveys using the new software. GSS also offer QA / QC, processing and modelling services for in-house surveys as well as for data collected by 3rd party contractors.
